TORONTO – Xpera Risk Mitigation & Investigation, an SCM Insurance Services company and Canada’s leading provider of investigation and risk solutions, today announced the appointment of Len Copp as its new President.

Mr. Copp brings a wealth of industry and leadership experience to this role. He has been with the SCM Group of Companies since 2000. He previously served as the President of Forensic Investigations Canada (FIC) until FIC merged with CKR Global in 2015 to form Xpera Risk Mitigation & Investigation. Mr. Copp was appointed Xpera’s Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Copp’s extensive knowledge of the investigation and risk solutions industry will smooth the transition as he moves into his new role and focuses on growing Xpera’s business and guiding its strategic direction.

Mr. Copp has been a licensed private investigator since 1996 and has conducted countless insurance investigations throughout Canada. He has extensive experience as a senior investigator, operations manager, and a branch manager, which provides him with a breadth of skills, knowledge, and perspectives of all levels of Xpera’s business. Len graduated from Grant MacEwan University in 1996 from the Police and Security Program with first class standing.

Mr. Copp will continue to be based out of Xpera’s Edmonton branch.
