Loss Adjusting is a fast-paced, complex field of insurance with no 2 files quite the same. Whether it be a home fire, a fender-bender, or an injury caused by a major accident, the ClaimsPro team determines coverage, legal liability, and settles claims with excellent customer service.
ClaimsPro relies on their Administrative Assistants to support the branch staff and producers in the delivery of quality service to our clients.
The key focus of the position is to provide effective and efficient administrative support within a fast paced environment. The position duties include typing, computer work on our internal software program and MS Office, billing/invoicing, and may also provide other administrative and clerical support to various branch staff. Other duties as may be required.
Responsibilities • Transcribes data from source documents following generally standardized procedures using coding skills and some judgement, for review by the adjuster • Other duties as assigned

We have an existing opportunity to add a Liability Claims Supervisor to our team!
The Liability Claims Supervisor will actively manage the day to day Adjusting Team composed of Liability desktop adjusters. This position involves leading and managing staff within our National Accounts business division with respect to quality and customer service excellence, training and development, and technical support. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of quality adjusting services while supporting the growth and development of the unit. The supervisor will also be required to manage production targets and quality targets as needed to support the department’s goals. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have experience in Commercial lines Liability claims.
Role Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed service level agreements for our Commercial Clients.
- Create a high-performance work environment
- Support achievement of financial and production targets through management of KPIs such as abeyance, cycle time, adjuster billings, claims response times, and interim and final billings
- Completion of quality assurance reviews to ensure quality standards are met
- Weekly review of the operational dashboard KPI targets
- Responsible for handling escalated complaints to ensure resolution reached
- Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to direct reports to achieve their full potential
- Act in a consultative and advisory capacity on claims matters and technical issues
- Individual meetings with adjuster for approval of denials and settlements above the adjusters’ authority

Qualifications & Experience:
- University degree or combination of education and equivalent business experience
- CIP Designation or working towards completion (must have relevant CIP courses needed for Adjuster license qualification)
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Personal Lines and Commercial Liability claims adjusting
- Prior Supervisory experience an asset
- Fully licensed as an Adjuster in Ontario and multiple provincial jurisdictions except Quebec, OR has the ability to be licensed as an Adjuster in Ontario and multiple provincial jurisdictions except Quebec
- Strong communication skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, and must be able to flex style appropriate to audience

Role Summary
We have an existing opportunity to add a Claims Triage Specialist to our team! This is an in-office position located in Mississauga.
Provide front-line quality customer services and fulfill an important role in the claims creation process for new claim reports received via email, fax, and telephone. Perform claims triage on new losses by engaging designated resources, claim units, and/or protocols to respond to defined categories of high-profile, complex claims nationally. Take part of a phone queue primarily receiving inbound calls, though some outbound call follow up is required. All calls require documentation and data entry for claims creation and follow up.
This role requires the flexibility to be available between the hours of 8AM to 8PM Monday through Friday. This position is in office and will not be remote.

We have an existing opportunity to add a full-time Desktop Property Claims Examiner to our growing team! This position is available anywhere in Canada and you must have your independent Adjusters license to qualify.
Attendance to the office a minimum of 1 day per week and as needed for training, client meetings and team meetings is required.
The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team that provides quality service to internal and external clients. They will display excellent customer service skills and will be a key contributor to the success of the organization by providing knowledgeable, detailed and timely service. Utilizing a ‘desktop’ model, IPG examiners manage claims from start to finish. This hands-on approach ensures that the claim is handled properly and helps offset third-party adjusting costs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Settle claims directly with Insureds or their representatives

- Direct Field Adjusters on task assignment investigations

International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent third-party administration (TPA) team providing claims services for Lloyd's of London syndicates, domestic insurers, self-insured entities, and organizations with high financial retentions.
We have an existing opportunity to add a Senior Claims Examiner to join our growing team!
This position is available anywhere in Canada and you must have your independent Adjusters license to qualify.
Attendance to the office a minimum of 1 day per week and as needed for training, client meetings and team meetings is required.
The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team that provides quality service to internal and external clients. They will display excellent customer service skills and will be a key contributor to the success of the organization by providing knowledgeable, detailed and timely service. Utilizing a ‘desktop’ model, IPG examiners manage claims from start to finish. This hands-on approach ensures that the claim is handled properly and helps offset third-party adjusting costs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Direct handle moderate to intermediate complex property claims
- Examine complex claims
- Direct Field Adjusters on task assignment investigations
- Settle claims directly with Insureds or their representatives
- Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts
- Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure clients’ needs are met
- Report back to the syndicate or self-insured according to their guidelines
Qualifications & Experience:
While licensing and experience are critical to being able to handle significant examining tasks for a TPA, we are looking for individuals with a demonstrated and proven track record of performance. You will have to be strong technically, a solid planner and organizer, and understand key issues plus provide solid solutions. You will have to be motivated to do this type of work and be excited by the challenges that a rapidly growing organization faces.
We will also consider the following:
- Your education, with relevant post-secondary education being an asset
- Your completed CIP courses, or working towards CIP designation
- Your ability to hold an independent adjusting license
- Your 3-7 years' experience delivering relevant claims adjusting and/or examining work
- Exposure to the Lloyd's market would be an asset
- Your experience positively contributing to a high-performing team
- Examples of your strong aptitude and ability to work with technology
- Your attention to detail and your ability to communicate professionally

We have an existing opportunity to add two Junior Adjusters to our growing team! The role will be desktop claims handling, which may eventually lead to a field role within the Edmonton area.
The Claims Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. This involves marketing and follow-up of opportunities in a timely manner. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have background/experience in insurance or insurance-related field.
Key Responsibilities

Prompt contact and follow up with policy holders and claimants.

Investigate the cause and report to clients with solid recommendations.

Identify exposures, recommend reserves, recommend investigation required for exposure, prepare action plans, and negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements.

Throughout the claims process, you will provide high level of customer service to clients and the insured.

You will participate and share ownership and responsibility for after-hours customer service requirements when required

Perform duties assigned to him/her in compliance with established work standards, policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience:

Completion of high school education; University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance will be given preference.

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive).

At least 1-year relevant experience in claims adjusting or related-field.

Ongoing commitment to education and learning; adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing CIP designation.

Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause-and-effect dynamics

Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.

Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature, perform and understand advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information.
