IPG works in the contiguous 48 states, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico handling a variety of claims including, but not limited to auto physical damage, inland marine cargo, dealers' open lot, property damage (commercial and homeowners) and general liability. Job Responsibilities: - Initiate the investigation of new claims
- Make liability/coverage decisions
- Evaluate and negotiate settlements of collision, specified perils, property damage, and transportation losses as appropriate.
- Manage and oversee the work of outside adjusters, appraisers and experts.
- Establish contact with the insured and claimant within established protocol.
- Recognize coverage issues and bring them to the attention of the supervisor.
- Develop basic understanding of liability and coverage principles.
- Recognize state specific laws and claims regulations throughout the United States to insure proper compliance in claims investigation including sending and securing proper documentation.
- Complete research to determine market value on automobiles and heavy equipment to make recommendations on total loss settlement values using proper state valuation methods.
- Summarize and make recommendations for disposition of claims in excess of the individual settlement authority.
- Respond to time sensitive material including but not limited to intercompany arbitration hearings, and department of insurance complaints.
- Manage a diary system to systematically review and resolve claims within the specified state compliance guidelines.
- Maintain state license by completing continuing education coursework and/or work towards a claims designation.
- Handle small claim suits as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the claims supervisor

Qualifications: - High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Experience with Lloyd’s of London is considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office ; Experience with Xactimate
- Able to be licensed in states, countries where necessary
- AIC designation preferred
Competencies: - Use of clear, rational, thinking supported by evidence to audit fees of independent adjusters, appraisers, and other vendors in order to properly manage and pay expense invoices.

Visit the SCM or BBCG website to learn more. Responsibilities: Manage claims from start to finish on behalf of insurers by performing the following tasks: - Conduct prompt and thorough investigations;
- Schedule and manage meetings with various stakeholders;
- Provide clients with regular updates on developments, coverage issues, and key elements of the assigned files;
- Draft client reports with recommendations, and explanatory letters to insureds and claimants;
- Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining strong communication with all parties involved;
- Timely and accurately document all relevant developments, including facts and circumstances of the loss and coverage issues;
- Maintain a calendar to manage claim developments effectively;
- Represent clients in disputes and collaborate with professionals such as lawyers, notaries, engineers, architects, accountants, bankruptcy trustees, and others;
- Manage stakeholder expectations, negotiate settlements, and resolve claims in accordance with client instructions.
Education, Skills, and Experience Required: - Minimum five (5) years of experience as a claims adjuster in one or more of the following areas: crime insurance, cyber insurance, professional liability, and directors & officers (D&O) liability;
- University degree considered an asset (e.g., law, engineering, accounting), or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
- Licensed claims adjuster or in the process of obtaining a license;
- CIP or FCIP designation considered an asset;
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both French and English;
- Strong oral and written communication abilities;
- Ability to perform and interpret advanced calculations, including comparative data analysis;
- Knowledge of accounting principles;
- Ability to adapt to different IT environments; advanced proficiency in Excel and Word is an asset;
- Strong attention to detail, investigative mindset, analytical thinking, and the ability to interpret complex legal documents;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks for effective time and case management;
- Ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;

Loss Adjusting is a fast-paced, complex field of insurance with no 2 files quite the same. Whether it be a home fire, a fender-bender, or an injury caused by a major accident, the ClaimsPro team determines coverage, legal liability, and settles claims with excellent customer service. ClaimsPro relies on their Administrative Assistants to support the branch staff and producers in the delivery of quality service to our clients. The key focus of the position is to provide effective and efficient administrative support within a fast-paced environment. The position duties include typing, computer work on our internal software program and MS Office, file coordination and filing, reception duties and may also provide other administrative and clerical support to various branch staff. Other duties as may be required.
This position is primarily in-office with the potential for hybrid opportunity. The hourly range for this role is $19.00-$23.00 per hour. Responsibilities: - Set up and preparation of new claims assignments to internal adjusters in accordance with predetermined KPI’s and client guidelines

- Coordinating and arranging various appointments for adjusters in addition to handing both incoming/outgoing phone inquiries
- Reception relief answer phones and forward calls in a timely, professional and efficient manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade twelve diploma
- A post-secondary diploma in Office Administration will be given preference.
- Previous experience within a dynamic team will be given preference.
- Experience in an administrative support environment is preferred
- Any insurance experience would be an asset
- Previously demonstrated ability to execute high attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and proven organizational skills
- Demonstrated behaviors showing initiative behaviors and follow-up skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Demonstrated professionalism and work ethic
