Role Summary
As an integral member of the team, you will be the face of the company, adding to the professionalism of the corporate office by bringing the highest level of expertise in administrative skills and demonstrating a superior level of customer service. The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to participate as part of a dynamic team that provides quality service to internal and external clients. They will display their customer service eccentric approach inherent in their day-to-day activities and will be a key contributor to the success of the office by providing excellent administrative support to all teams.

Responsibilities
- Collation
- Proof reading
- Answering and screening calls
- Greeting clients and guests
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail including couriers
- Arranging for service of office equipment (copiers, telephones, etc)
- Document control: maintain client files, photocopy and distribute documents, scan mail and faxes, attach to online claims files and put hard copy to file. Prepare files for closing.
- Opening new client claims and set up in the system
- Claim file management – assisting adjusters with updating files
- Administrative support to the Branch Manager
- Work with other administrators in the Region in a workflow pool
- Entering office expenses for cheque requests
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade twelve diploma
- Previous experience within a dynamic team will be given preference
- Experience in an administrative support role
- Previously demonstrated ability and comfort level using other software/databases
- Demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and proven organizational skills
- Demonstrated behaviors showing initiative and follow-up skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Demonstrated professionalism and work ethic
- Proven ability to contribute to and work well within a team environment
- Intermediate typing and experience with Word, Excel & Outlook skills are required

Job Description
Working with the National Accounts Leadership team the core responsibility of this position is to provide and manage effective claims management solutions for our top commercial and personal lines clients.
Job Duties:
- Management of a portfolio of client accounts relating to automobile, property and general liability exposures.
- Establish and implementation of Best Handling Practices unique to each client.
- Performance of day-to-day tasks such as responding to client stakeholders, internal stakeholders (operations, sales) and addressing inquiries / concerns as needed.
- Create and Maintain Service Level Agreements and Claims Handling Process/Guideline documents as per Client contractual obligations
- Conduct regular stewardship and client facing meetings
- Support achievement of financial and production targets through management of KPIs such as abeyance, adjuster billings, claims response times, cycle times, and account receivables.
- Adjuster Performance management through quality assurance reviews and audits, regular adjuster meetings and complaint management
- Weekly review of the operational dashboard KPI targets
- Potential leadership, guidance and mentoring of a dedicated adjusting team
- Act in a consultative and advisory capacity on claims matters and technical issues
- Participation in the RFP process for new business and existing client contract renewals
Qualifications & Experience:
- University Degree and/or CIP/FCIP Designation
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Property & Casualty claims adjusting, multi provincial experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
- Fully licensed in Ontario or ability to be fully licensed in Ontario and other Provinces

BBCG's successful candidate must have more than three years' experience in bonds or related fields such as construction law, engineering and/or project management, and have demonstrated these qualities during his/her career:

- Superior ability to interpret suretybond wordings, complex coverage conditions and obligations
- Exceptional ability to interpret complex contractual wordings and coverage conditions.
- Superior report writing ability, and proven ability to analyze and present claim data to sureties/insurers in an organized and professional manner
- Current working knowledge of relevant jurisprudence applicable to the surety industry
- Up-to-date, practical knowledge of case law applicable to the surety and construction industries
- Ability to oversee and direct consultants, lawyers, contractors and engineers, and other experts to ensure timely and effective claim resolution
- University degree or a combination of education and relevant experience;
- Adjuster’s license designation or working towards completion;
- Additional key assets and skills such as:
- Background in law or engineering would be an asset;
- A professional demeanor and ability to communicate clearly to all stakeholders in a formal group setting
