Whether it be a home fire, a fender-bender, or an injury caused by a major accident, the ClaimsPro team determines coverage, legal liability, and settles claims with excellent customer service.We have an existing opportunity to add an Administrative Assistant to our team! This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave. Salary Range - $35k - $45k per year. ClaimsPro relies on their Administrative Assistants to support the branch staff and producers in the delivery of quality service to our clients. The key focus of the position is to provide effective and efficient administrative support within a fast-paced environment. The position duties include typing, computer work on our internal software program and MS Office (Excel) file coordination and filing, reception duties and may also provide other administrative and clerical support to various branch staff. Other duties as may be required. Responsibilities:- Set up and preparation of new claims assignments to internal adjusters in accordance with predetermined KPI’s and client guidelines,
- A positive, “can do” attitude and customer service approach ensuring all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner,
- Professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to problem solve and work well independently and in a team environment,
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to re-prioritize tasks and manage time effectively,
- Team player and excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all individuals in all levels within the organization,

- Sending appropriate client acknowledgements, confirmations and correspondences to clients, claimants, legal representatives and parties involved on various claim files,
- Transcribe data from source documents following generally standardized procedures using coding skills and some judgement for review by the adjuster,
- Collating reports and statements
- Processing client invoicing for claims and prepare files for closure,
- Administrative support to the branch manager and administrative supervisor as needed,
- Reception relief answer phones and forward calls in a timely, professional and efficient manner,
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:- Grade twelve diploma
- A post-secondary diploma in Office Administration will be given preference.
- Previous experience within a dynamic team will be given preference.
- Experience in an administrative support environment is preferred
- Any insurance experience would be an asset
- Previously demonstrated ability to execute high attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and proven organizational skills
- Demonstrated behaviors showing initiative behaviors and follow-up skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

- CIP designation is required

Qualifications & Experience:
- University Degree and/or CIP/FCIP Designation

- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
- Fully licensed in Ontario or ability to be fully licensed in Ontario and other Provinces

The Independent Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. This involves marketing and follow-up of opportunities in a timely manner. The profile duties create a dynamic portfolio requiring extremely well-honed organizational skills that enable day to day activities to be completed while allowing efficient and effective progress of file management activities.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have experience in Personal and/or Commercial lines Auto Property Damage (PD). Qualifications & Experience
University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance.
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Equivalency in combination of education and experience will be considered Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause and effect dynamics Good investigative manner Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them. Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature, perform and understand advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information. Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing or have completed the CIP designation Advanced communication skills including: Effective written skills including those of a technical nature Effective oral skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, must be able to flex style appropriate to audience. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in an effective manner.
